*THE LENT SEASON. The Lent season is coming to an end. It should be marked with fasting, penance and almsgiving. Remember your neighbour in material and spiritual need. Keep in mind obligation of abstinence from meet on Lenten Fridays. Confession Day before Easter in our parish will be this Wednesday, April 9 at 6:00 p.m. You can have confession in Croatian or English with me or Fr. Dragan Bolčić, pastor from Montreal. Sign up your elderly and ill for the priest visit, so I could come to listen to their confession and bring them the holy Eucharist. We have the Way of the Cross this Friday at 6:30 p.m. Next Sunday is Palm Sunday, when the Gospel of the Passion of the Lord is read during the Mass, so there will be no Way of the Cross. I invite those who are interested to read Passion of the Lord in the church to remain few minutes on the meeting after the Mass.

*PALM SUNDAY PARISH LUNCHEON. On Palm Sunday,April 13 after Mass, we will have a traditional parish luncheon. This time we introduce a new chef Lovro Barbaroša. Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for students and children under 6 for free. Book your tickets at the Parish Office (613-722-7135) or Vinko Marinković (613-822-3321). We invite volunteers to come and prepare church hall for the event on this Saturday, April 12 at 7:oo p.m. Cake donations are welcome as well.

*CATECHISM CLASSES FOR CONFIRMANDS AND CANDIDATES FOR THE FIRST COMMUNION. This Friday, April 11, there is a catechism class for the candidates for the First Communion at 7:30 p.m. Next Friday is Good Friday and evwerybody is invited to attend the Rites of the Passion of the Lord at 3:00 p.m. There will be no catechism class that day. Friday after Easter there will be confession and and rehearsal for the candidates for the First Communion, which will take place on the 2nd Sunday of Easter.

*46th ANNUAL CONCERT AND BANQUET. CROATOAN invites you to attend their spring concert and banquet. The CONCERT is on Thursday, May 1 at Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe (101 Centrepointe Drive). Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and must be purchased at www.croatoan.ca/springconcert. Don't wait, concert will sell out! The BANQUET is in the church hall on Saturday, May 3. The doors open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $70 for adults and $60 for seniors, students and performers. Children under 5 are free. Join us for dinner and live music by "Grupa Baština".
